RIO developed the T-14TM as a tungsten alternative to lead. T-14 containes no lead. It is supple, does not kink, weighs 14 grains per foot and sinks at a very fast 8-9 inches per second.
T-14 is best for single-hand rods from 8 through 12 weight, and double hand rod tips. T-14 works especially well with the new Skagit spey line.
T-8 is designed for single-Hand rods 5 through 7 weight, weighs 8 grains per foot and sinks at 7 inches per second, T-11 weighs 11 grians per foot and sinks at 8 inches per second.
Cut the T-8 or T-14 to the desired length to meet existing fishing conditions.

To fabricate sink tips for existing fishing conditions, the angler can cut the T-8, T-11 or T-14 to any length.
